Yes, now you can use your iPhone to help you get rid of your acne as there is an app that is designed to clear up your face. Dermatologist Dr. Greg Pearson has developed “AcneAPP’ claiming that it can be used to cure acne and even improve wrinkles.
Available for only $1.99, the app can be used to improve your skin while you talk, by covering your face with 420 nanometer blue light, having antibacterial properties, and 550 nanometer red light which is supposed to work as an anti-inflammatory to help your complexion.
Dr. Pearson said that he is fascinated by the idea of clearing your skin while talking on the phone. However, the efficiency of this app cannot be decided as yet as it will require a lot more clinical study.
Another dermatologist suggested that it would take almost 88 treatments for the app to work. However, the fear of the amount of harmful ultraviolet rays that would be emitted using the app still remains.
It may take some time to evaluate the result whether this app will really cure your acne or will result in more harmful effect, only time will tell. But the next time you see someone with acne talking on his iPhone, remember not to disturb as he might be getting his treatment.
