The phone also includes the social networking happy MOTOBLUR interface. Although it may have similar features that were also present in its previous models, the Motorola CLIQ XT hopes to attract customers through its slimmer design and efficient interface.
Measuring 4.59” in length and 2.34” in width, Motorola CLIQ XT is bigger but thinner (0.48 inch) than the CLIQ. The handset uses a two color scheme, making the front black, and the back of chrome bezel.
The Motorola CLIQ XT has a 3.1” LCD touchscreen having a resolution of 320×480 pixels.
The 5-megapixel auto-focusing camera comes with the LED flash and offers good results. The interface is quite simple, allowing the user to adjust resolution, geotagging preferences, color effect, toggle auto focus and choose from automatic or preset white balances.
According to the manufacturer, the battery can support 4.5 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time.
Although very similar to the Motorola CLIQ, the CLIQ XT differentiates itself in many ways. The software offers several new features like the music player, multi-touch support, and Flash Lite to watch YouTube files. The phone definitely has something new to make it unique.

so now i’m on the 5th moto cliq waiting for the 6th to arrive.. Sad and i must say i’m extremely disappointed with the replacements ive been getting, keyboards not lighting up, the screen breaking , turning off unexpectedly, being extreamly hot whenever charging..etc.. ive just had the worst luck with this phone.. they offered me the brand new dash and the new blackberry.. but i really like the overall flexibility of this phone so much that im attempting to look past it.. i simply need to know if anybody else is having these problems with replacements.. or just in general.

Motorola readies it’s successor: Cliq 2 with Android 2.2 froyo and faster processor. But I still don’t like the keyboard design. Just like a toy.
