Many problems like application is loading slowly or working weird can be solved by repairing permissions. Each file in Mac Os X includes a set of permissions; this decides which user or application can get access to them. Sometimes permissions are wrong and the operating system does not understand them. Fix disk permissions by using the Disk Utility app; you will find it in Applications/Utilities.
