Remove Date (Year/Month/Day) in WordPress Permalink URL with htaccess
All you need is to go to wordpress dashboard.
- Go Settings -> Permalinks
- Select Custom Structure and enter /%postname%/into the field at bottom.
- Click Save Changes to make the change effective.
- FTP into the WordPress installation, edit the .htaccess file.
- Add following code at the end of the file:
