Blogging is now an integral mode of communication in the online world. People not only interact with each other, but also share views, experiences, news, stories and many other such things. Now, not only is blogging a mode of communication, it can also be used as a source to earn money albeit the hard way. In this digital age, with the internet being a giant world, getting your blog to be on the top searches as well as getting it to earn money is not such an easy job.
Just like every real life business, there has to be lots of hard work, patience, time and resource investment, networks to be created, dedication and determination required. When you have all these with the right stroke of luck, you may get to be earning quite an amount. However, it must not be taken as a light job, because it’s very hard to build viewership and it’s equally hard to maintain those readers. To get you started, here are a few points that you could take into consideration for a successful, money earning blog.
1). A Good Plan
A blog, like a business strategy needs a good plan. You need to figure out, draw out what you would want to share or want people to read about. Look up online market trends and catch that topic that is needed. There are thousands of blogs out there, but what is that one factor that could make your blog stand out? After the initial thought, you need to know the processes of blogging, for example, the domain required, the SEO words required, the keywords, internal how to of a blog and many other such aspects.
2). Get A Good Domain Name
Companies have unique names that can give them the right identification needed. Same is with a blog.

This week, Amazon made public its latest Kindle device, the Kindle DX. The new device is similar to the original Kindle and it’s designed to read textbooks and periodicals.
Although, Amazon is marketing this as a more practical solution for the college students, but there is a possibility that the pupil might reject the new tool.
What most students do; they buy their books on campus, where they get new and used copies. Also, the more economic of us go to Web sites like Amazon.com or eBay’s Half.com.
When the semester ends, students can also dispose of the books at the campus or even can get to the online buyback services, where they collect a check for about 15 percent of the original price. Students have been practicing this for decades.
Last night I, finally handed over the passwords for ixibo along with its hosting account to Maria. She will be the new owner and administrator for www.ixibo.com. It has been a great ride from founding this blog to Google Page Rank 3. Since May, 2008, I along with Henry, Paul, Sara and others worked very hard to make this blog a success. we achieved part of it together.
But I have some other big projects in pipeline so, I thought it would be a good idea to handover the keys of this blog to someone who is really passionate about technology and a great team player. I will keep contributing as a guest writer occasionally but now it’s Maria’s show.
Finally, I would like to say good luck and thank you to all my readers. Your feedback and comments have been the single largest source of inspiration that led me to success as a professional blogger. I will keep on doing what I do best… blogging and tweeting on twitter.

Yesterday I was sitting with a few friends discussing traffic trends of my blogs. Following idea came up and I thought it would be great if I could share it with you over here. Idea is very simple. Its very similar to creating a traffic club but on a smaller scale. Let me explain this in detail.
If you are still interested you are very likely to be a fellow blogger like me, striving to create original content, submitting it religiously submitting it to social bookmarking sites like Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Mangolia, Mixx to name a few, only to watch it going down and off the pages after few hours. It breaks my heart to see the articles and posts sinking see deep inside these pages that after few days they bring no more than a few clicks a day and that too if the post is really interesting.
