In this modern time, every one out of four Americans utilizes the facility of the wireless phone. So it’s about 86 million people approximately. Every two adults out of three use mobile phones in order to meet any emergency situation. Competition between the wireless companies for five years reduced the expenditure of their phones to a great extent. These are also trying to have the latest technological capabilities.
Benefits of Using Wireless Phone
If you are not availing the facility of wireless phones, you will definitely need persuasion. Although the wireless phones keep away from the near by people, keep in touch with far away people like relatives, friends etc. One can call to the rescue team for assistance in any emergency like accident.
The cost is also reduced to a great extent so that every citizen can easily afford these inexpensive wireless phones. Companies usually make a contract with their customers regarding wireless phones. It is often for twenty four months. If anyone cancels out this contract, he/she will have to give a fine of $200. You can also purchase it if you are not willing to make a contract. But this will not be cheaper than that of contract. It will be on a per minute basis.

As soon as new technology is introduced in the smart phones, sales war starts among the competitive companies. Now is the time for online sellout for Motorola’s Droid X. Although the companies do not reveal their actual sales data, the Droid X seems to be sold out in advance on internet sales and soon it will be short.
According to research, the Verizon version of Google’s smart phone is doing great sale and in short supply at Verizon stores. Soon it is will be the same with retailers. So everyone wants change, other than Apple’s I-phone, whose sale is now reduced due to its reception difficulty. Verizon also promoted the Droid a lot, which is offered by other carriers too. Droid has not very quick sale now and it is unfamiliar to many but it is said to the potential to catch the sales of Apple’s iPhone.
The droid promoters say that apple is only at the top for its sales not for its usability. According to them Droid is more user friendly than Apple in many applications. In Droid the users are being able to create their own applications without having to submit them to Apple. It has multiple carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile.
Samsung has just added a new tablet to its lineup for Galaxy Tab Series. Its new edition is called Galaxy Tab 10.1. In my humble opinion, it is a total failure. A disaster for the company and disappointment to fans all over the world.
The design is good, sleek and stylish. But in an attempt to compete with iPad, It made loads of compromises on functionality and usability. It is not a phone and its not a computer as well, so what is it good for? Browsing the internet! Yeah, you can do that on it.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Flash enabled browser. That’s great. But the good news stops here… For everything else, you need an adapter. I hate lists but here is my list of things I hate and love about new tablet.
Things I Love about Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
- Its Andriod 3.0 HoneyComb
- It has WiFi Built-in
- It has Flash Support so web browsing is great
- It is light-weight
- It is slim
- It is cheap
- It multi-touch
Things I hate about Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
- It has short battery Life
- Back Camera is 3.0 Mega Pixel and front is 2.0
- No GPS
- No Mobile Network
- No 3G Network , No Edge Connectivity
- No USB Port
- No SD Card Slot
- No HDMI Output
- Non Standard Charger Cable 30pin
- No Stylus
- No TV out Cable
So verdict is out, I have 11 reasons to hate and only 7 to love the new Galaxy Tab 10.1. I will not have it even if someone pass it as a gift to me.
The iPhone 4 has created a storm amongst the regular people who are flocking in thousands on online websites to purchase this phone. The success of iPhone is a huge contributing factor to the economic progress of AT&T, America’s leading broadband and telephony service provider.
The iPhone 4 has enhanced features that enables users to be online 24/7 and perform a large number of activities, ranging from simple browsing the net to downloading videos and movies. Since its a 3G network phone,it demands high speed internet performance to be able to function its best.
Although getting an iPhone can be really appealing, but figuring out how to unlock the device can be a big headache.
If you have been trying hard to figure a way out to unlock it, then you must have experienced a lot of scams and fake configurations or software.
Although there are thousands of iphone 3G unlocking solution providers out there, each one claiming that they offer the best unlocking solution, unfortunately most of them are just scams, offering non effective solutions.
For the first time, you can now watch March Madness games live with your iPhone, from anywhere over AT&T’s 3G network.
The application which is available on iTunes, will cost about $9.99, which is twice as much as the last year’s version that was available on limited WiFi networks.
The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games have already begun and if you are big Olympic fan, then you must be keeping a track of all the events.
But obviously, it’s always a challenge to keep tabs on the various events, especially if you are at work. But don’t worry, now you can keep yourself updates with the free NBC Olympics app on your iPhone. Along with a number of other things, it shows a complete interactive event schedule.
The schedule also includes a scrolling TV guide, so you can easily see what events are being aired during any given day, and on which particular station (whether it is NBC, CNBC, or Universal Sports), and plan your day ahead. Moreover, the app also provides online listings.
Can you guess the thing worst then paying AT&T’s monthly bill? It is to pay the AT&T bill higher then usual, and this happens when you ignored the allotted time to talk and text messages.
So, now I am going to tell you that I found an application and I became its fan, the application is OverMyMinutes Alerter, this is a free application that can notify you when it is necessary to alarm you to hold on… now you don’t have much allotted minutes or text limit, and this application notify you via SMS. At first glance you’ll consider it as unnecessary. You already have a way to check the data usage by AT&T’s MyWireless app, and you also have a method to check by dialing *646# and it will for free show you text message showing remaining minutes.
MagicJack has announced that it will soon be extending its no-monthly bill phone service to mobile users too. If you heard about a magic jack, it is a small USB device that allows computer owners with a broadband connection to take advantage of a low-cost VoIP phone service.
A smaller device will replace the existing jack, playing the role of a miniature GSM base station at home, called a femtocell. The femtocell will be used to connect to the user’s computer, using its Internet connection to route the calls. This allows cell phones that use GSM to make calls through the MagicJack femtocell, for free, within the premises of the house which can be as big as 3000 square feet.
Although it may be a good advancements but its still far behind what we all have been expecting from magic jack, i.e., using the service without having a computer switched on and connected in order to make and receive calls.
Recently, Apple has taken over a large portion of the smart phone market, making the iPhone king of the all the smart phones. Several mobile phone manufacturers like Nokia have released different phones in competition to the iPhone.
Out of these, Nokia’s new N900 phone has all the capabilities, and more functions than the iPhone, making it a better choice.
Here is a list of 7 ways why N900 is better than the iPhone:
1. N900 Cheaper Than iPhone- With No Contract
You can get Nokia N900 for $500 from amazon.com, whereas the iPhone 3GS 32GB is for $300. Although iPhone may seem cheaper at first glance, but as N900 is an unlocked GSM phone, you’re not stuck with a single mobile provider.
The $300 iPhone 3GS is offered by AT&T and locked to their network, i.e. you must agree to a 2-year contract when you buy the iPhone, which will end up costing you thousands of dollars in the long run.
