Free Mafia Game For The iPhone Finally Released

Mob-based games for are getting very popular and no wonder iPhone crowd also wants its share of popular mob based games. SGN ,popular for it’s Wii-like games on iPhone,  finally released much awaited game “Mafia: Respect and Retaliation”.

Mafia:R&R has many features that make it stand out among the competition. for example, you can play it offline. It has an option to utilize the iPhone’s Wii-Like accelerometer to control the shooting range and move your player in 3D environment.

Basic game is free for download. Company is planning to make money by selling premium version of game once you get addicted to the basic version of game . 12 Premium versions of Mafia: Respect and Retaliation are available and price varies from 99 cent to $5 dollars.

Premium versions are basically equal to cheat codes as they let users get more skill points and ranking. I am content with the basic version as its more fun to evolve your own mafia character.

Mafia:R&R is basically a text based game. It allow players to complete jobs so they can rise in the ranks of organized crime. As they rise in ranking and respect they can buy improved accessories like weapons and gear.

Mafia like games are not for every one as the learning curve is not steep but as you get used to, these games become really addictive.
