Google Android Sales Step Ahead of iPhone

Apple iPhone rival and most talked operating system Android-based phone sales have shown an increase by leaving behind Apple’s iPhone. According to NDP Groups’s Mobile Phone Track survey reports, in first quarter of year 2010, Android operating system based mobile phone sale shown an increase. 
Its first time that Android operating system giving a strong challenge to iPhone and other smartphone operating system by standing in second position in sales. Android is sharing 28% of the smartphone market. At first position is Blackberry’s OS, developed by RIM, has 36% market share. Apple iPhone’s OS is sharing 21% of the market share and is on third position.
It’s a great achievement by the Jobs & Co. who is in great position in market share by having the operating system that is already in use by different handsets manufacturers. As compared to it Apple’s iPhone is manufactured by a single company and is available from only one carrier. Now it’s the consumer choice that they want freedom that is not available from Apple.
