Microsoft To Launch Two New ‘Pink’ Phones

Microsoft is about to disclose two of its “Project Pink” feature phones, that have been code named as Turtle and Pure. Apparently, Microsoft is going to change its course of action by using new experimental techniques of attracting users.

The launch of these innovative phones will be a new approach from the company to enter into the highly-competitive mobile phones market.
The phones have been manufactured by the Japanese firm Sharp and are going to be sold by Verizon Wireless. Microsoft has designed the new phone specifically for the young generation, keeping in view their requirement for a fun and stylish, yet useful device.
Both the phone will target the youngsters who crave to stay connected at all times by supporting multiple instant messaging accounts, games, music, e-mail, and Facebook.
Together with boasting social-networking as their key selling point, the phones are also going to be the first ones to have accessibility to the Zune music service, which will make them even more special.
Although these “Pink” phones are no competition for the iPhone, it is important to understand that they were not meant to compete with it. These particular phones are being created to gain the market share by targeting a different market segment. The phones will generally widen the the Zune community, making Zune a more attractive feature of Windows Phone.
Both the phones are going have slide-out keyboards and movable screens, making them very different from the iPhone and the Nexus One.
