If you analyze the HTC HD2 for some time, you will definitely notice that some aspects of the Windows Phone are quite similar to the iPhone.

Starting from the capacitive touchscreen to the user friendly interface, it just seems more like iPhone than any other non-Apple handset.
| HTC HD2 | IPhone | |
| Operating System | Windows Mobile 6.5 | IPhone OSX |
| Dimensions | 120.5 x 67 x 11 mm | 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm |
| Weight | 157 gms | 135 gms |
| Screen Size | 4.5 inches | 3.5 inches |
| ROM | 512 MB | N/A |
| RAM | 448 MB | 256 MB |
| External Storage | MicroSD | N/A |
| Processor | 1 GHz Snapdragon | 600MHz Samsung ARM |
| Camera | 5 MP | 3 MP |
| GPS | Yes | Yes |
If you do a simple spec-to-spec comparison, the HD2 actually has more to offer to the user. It is equipped with a bigger screen, a faster processor, removable battery and storage, superior audio and video file support, FM radio and a better camera. However, the iPhone has a greater capacity of inbuilt storage, audio and video playback times, and support for the UMTS 1900GHz spectrum.
But it is important not to forget than specs aren’t everything. Without the iPhone apps and the Apple Store, which is a thriving community, the iPhone wouldn’t be where it is today. It is due to the numerous apps available on the Apple store which makes iPhone different from others.
Moreover, the iPhone is much more user friendly, especially when you compare some of the more complex contexts of the Windows Mobile operating system.
