There have been numerous rumors circulating in the market regarding the iPhone 4GS. With the introduction of many new smartphones having advanced features such as the Palm Pre, the Droid, and most recently the Nexus One, the current iPhone 3.0 has gotten a bit behind the curve, and hopefully, iPhone 4.0 will be able to fill in the gap.

Here are some of the probable upgrades that have been added in the 4GS.

• Better 5.0 megapixel camera
• LED flash
• OLED screen
• Removable battery
• A different casing

• Better storage capacity 64GB
• Introduction of multitasking and a multitouch screen

It is also expected that Apple could release the iPhone 4G in early May rather than in June/July as was expected earlier. The addition of the 5 megapixel camera and the LED flash will enable the new iPhone to stand in competition with the Nexus One, but the removable battery still seems unbelievaeble as most of the Apple products including their laptops have a non-removable battery.

At the end, we will just have to wait and see, as we did for the Nexus One, to see exactly what features are added and whether it does affect the iPhone sales or not.
