After the success of its three latest smartphones running on the Windows Mobile Platform, HTC has announced that it will be launching three new windows mobile phones, showing its strong commitment to Microsoft.

HTC Tera

The new smartphones will be produced especially for business users, who want a complete comprehensive communication and organizational experience.

All three phones that will be launched will have distinct features and functions. HTC hopes to attract more users with its new Windows Mobile handsets, while pleasing those who already prefer the platform.

Photon Mobile Phone

Probably launching in April, the first mobile phone, which is code-named as Photon, is expected to replace the HTC Touch Diamond 2.

Having a five megapixel camera, together with a 3.2 inch multi-touch screen and Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, it will definitely be a great attraction for most HTC users.

Trophy Mobile Phone

Having similar shape and style to the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the second smartphone, called the Trophy, will have a full QWERTY keypad.

Tera Mobile Phone

The third phone, called the Tera, is similar to the Nokia N97, having a full QWERTY keypad beneath a sliding touchscreen interface.

Although all three phones seem quite promising, but the Tera could suffer as it will use the older, resistive, touchscreen technology as compared to the multi-touch, sensitive, capacitive versions coming with the new phones.
