According to reports, the company plans to launch the first Windows Mobile 7-based devices sometime in the second or the third quarter of the next year.

There is also news that the Windows Mobile-based handsets from HTC, which have already leaked, namely the HTC Trophy, HTC Tera and HTC Photon, are just meant for T-Mobile, and there will be other phones too which will arrive in the first half of the next year.

HTC is quite famous for its Windows Mobile-based handsets, especially for producing some great smartphones such as the Touch Pro2 or HD2, which were both launched during the ongoing year. This has made the news of new phones more exciting.

However, since Microsoft has delayed launch of the new OS towards the end of the next year, we may have to wait a bit more, keeping our fingers crossed.
