An alternate to RIM BlackBerry 8830 World Edition, RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 is a better phone in all aspects as compared to BlackBerry 8830. However, it does lack Wi-Fi.

Design
The design or shape of RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 is similar to RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the RIM BlackBerry Bold, including some of the best features of the two smartphones.
As far as its size is concerned, it is 4.4 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide and 0.6 inch thick. It is little bit heavier than Blackberry Curve 8900. However, this phone is still convenient to carry.
Features
Some of the key features include:
- Consists of 65,536 colors at a 480×360-pixel resolution resulting in lively, strong images and text look.
- Simple to navigate
- It provides you a 35-key QWERTY keyboard that makes usage easier.
- Other functions consist of lock and mute buttons on top of the device, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port on the right side of the phone.
- It provides offers worldwide roaming facility.
- Common features consist of a speakerphone, voice-activated dialing, smart dialing, conference calling, speed dial, and text and multimedia messaging.
- Acceptable picture quality having 3.2 megapixel camera.
Performance
Wireless connectivity and voice call quality is satisfactory however; calls sounded a little hollow.
BlackBerry’s Web browser is not that good. The GPS reception is of high quality and has a talk time of about 5 hours and fourteen days.
