Nokia X6, the latest musical phone will be launched in UK, this week. A compact, square, touchscreen smartphone, enhanced with the capability to provide up to 35 hours of uninterrupted music, no doubt, a complete extravaganza for all those music lovers!

It is expected that the handset would be a great success in the Christmas market, as it is being offered free of charge if taken on a £35 monthly contract agreement.
Features
Some of the important features of this phone include:
- A 3.2 inch touchscreen
- 32 GB of internal memory
- Support for UMTS network, HSDPA
- WiFi connectivity
- Integrated GPS receiver with Ovi Maps on Symbian OS v9.4 S60 fifth edition
- 5 megapixel camera, equiped with a Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash
- Video calling
- An excellent media player with graphic equalizer
- Also carries Nokia’s Comes With Music service, allowing free unlimited music downloads.
Although the X6 is a bit thicker than other smartphones, the capacitive touchscreen makes the operation and the perception of the Symbian S60 Touch UI much more comfortable for users. The phone allows smooth switching between menus, applications and while browsing the photo gallery, much smoother and faster than the N97.
Nokia also plans to launch its smartphone, Nokia N900, by christmas. It will be the first Nokia phone to support the Maemo operating system, which had been used in internet tablets only previously.
Moreover, N900 will also include a QWERTY keyboard, an RM Cortex-A8 processor and 1GB of application memory, enabling the user to take full advantage of its various capabilities.
