Nokia N900 Now Available in the US

The Nokia N900, which had been delayed due to some optimization of the Maemo 5 operating system, has finally been released in the US market.

It was announced by the company today that it has already started shipment to pre-ordered phones. The Linux-based Maemo platform would give the users a wide range of connectivity options.
Key Features
The N900 offers storage of 32GB, with access to 3G data networks, mail connectivity, websites book marking, social communities, images, music, multitasking capabilities, and much more.
Moreover, the phone is also a powerful computer, offering a great experience no matter how many applications are running.
Open Source Platform
Having an open source platform, it provides simple ways to build applications for the device, including podcasting, Twitter and instant messaging solutions.
It also supports web browser based on Mozilla Technology, which comes with support for Adobe Flash 9.4 offering a more enhanced experience.
Some of the other features include a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, the option to personalize up to four screens, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash.
The new Nokia N900 can be purchased from the company’s outlets in New York and Chicago priced at USD 649.
