Please Help Me Choose a Wireless Phone!
The New Year is just around the corner. While thinking about things to do before new year night, I have resolved to buy myself a new mobile phone/wireless phone. but this leads to a strange situation. With so many choices available, It is hard to decide which mobile phone should I buy. I have narrowed down my search to following few. I need help from my readers to help me select one of them. Please leave a comment with your choice and reason for making that choice.
Nokia N97
Nokia N97 is the first mobile phone with 32GB internal memory and additional external SDHC memory cards up to 16GB and also the first with the concept of social location that use sensors and a GPS electronic compass.
Nokia N97 will be present in Europe and Asia in the quarter of next year or around April 2009. Another merit of that preferred, especially for those who like to listen a music or watch video via phone, Nokia N97 promises a battery that can hold up to 37 hours to listen to music and 5 hours to watch the video. The Nokia N97 is equipped with a touchscreen 640×360/16:9, 5 mega pixels digital camera with Carl Zeiss Lens, dual LED flash as well as image recoding ability to 30FPS.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Sony Ericsson introduces the Xperia X1, as a brand that is intended to be developed with other devices of its. Shaped slider arcs, Xperia X1 is a device which escort to the new lineup of Sony Ericsson. Xperia X1 is better than email engine, with a GSM connection, the EDGE of 3G HSDPA, HSUPA and UMTS.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 supports Quad-band GSM device with Tri-Band 3G radio. In the matter of connectivity, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 has a Wi-Fi b/g, unlocked GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, which supports Headset, Handsfree, Generic Object Exchange, File Transfer Protocol, Object Push (OPP), Generic Access (GAP), Serial Port (SPP), Service Discovery Application, Human Interface Device, Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP), Audio, Visual Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), and Personal Area Networking (PAN). Xperia X1 is likely to uses Windows Mobile.
BlackBerry Storm
Storm has excellent features, with clear and loud sound, also has a wide roaming rates. Voice dialling, copy and paste, programmable side buttons, a removable battery and a standard headphone jack. Although the camera is still loading slowly, BlackBerry Storm has a good flash, 2x zoom and stabilizer.
On the negative note… BlackBerry, Storm has several weaknesses, the touchscreen concept that want to rival the iPhone touchscreen, thus making it have no physical keyboard. BlackBerry without the keyboard looks like a small iPod without the scroll wheel, the entire screen as a valid click of a mouse button.
There are other weaknesses in the main functions of a BlackBerry Storm for email. With a little soft touch, the user does not get any display case, only with the full touch in any case will display.
The price was equal to the price of iPhone. BlackBerry Storm could be indeed said as one of the iPhone killer. U.S. $ 199.99 is the price discount for customers who do contract with Verizon Wireless service for two years, the discount service is U.S. $ 50.
If you can help me with choosing a phone from above, I will be very thankful.. have a nice day.
