well, some people still use it. it is just sufficent to have a text browser (the one which doesnt load images, java ect) to have a fast connection. if you also add this trick it will look like you have a T1 connection!web talks last blog post..How to redirect Wordpress feeds to Feedburner feeds

today i am reading your lot of posts ,all are with nice contents but still something missing there don’t think so…now let’s see
1) see your tip 5 ..now look your ip address ,still we are using ipv4
not ipv6 so making ipv6 enable will improve speed of Firefox??

2) pipelining :-from 2 tip….multiple requests can be sent before any responses are received. This is known as pipelining. what you understand from pipe?? requests are pipe one by one,right?????
